THE STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT / THE UNIVERSITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK / ALBANY, NY 12234 Office of P-20 Education Policy |
The Direct Certification Matching Process (DCMP) is currently undergoing system maintenance to remove data from the 2023-2024 school year and to process data for the new school year. The New York State Education Department (SED) will notify schools once initial processing is complete and access to the DCMP is restored.
Additionally, SED is extending the carryover period from 30 days to 60 days. As a result, a child's eligibility status from the previous school year can be maintained for up to 60 operating days, starting on the first day of school, or until a new eligibility determination is made, whichever comes first. Furthermore, the deadline for reporting SNAP and Medicaid counts has been extended; School Food Authorities (SFAs) will now need to report this data with the October claim.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at cn@nysed.gov.
