2021 - 2022 Adult Selling Prices ** Updated to Reflect Latest SSO Rates

Adult Selling Prices

Breakfast

  • Schools that receive regular reimbursement for breakfast must charge a minimum of $2.08 plus tax for an adult breakfast meal.
  • Schools that receive severe need reimbursement for breakfast must charge a minimum of $2.46 plus tax for an adult breakfast meal.

Lunch

  • Schools that receive under 60% ($3.7199) for lunch must charge a minimum of $4.12 plus tax for an adult lunch.
  • Schools that receive under 60% plus the additional PBR* ($3.7899) for lunch must charge a minimum of $4.19 plus tax for an adult lunch.
  • Schools that receive over 60% ($3.7399) for lunch must charge a minimum of $4.14 plus tax for an adult lunch.
  • Schools that receive over 60% plus the additional PBR* ($3.8099) for lunch must charge a minimum of $4.21 plus tax for an adult lunch.
  • Schools that receive under 60%, plus the additional PBR* and the 30% NYS Initiative State Subsidy ($3.93) for lunch must charge a minimum of $4.32 plus tax for an adult lunch.
  • Schools that receive over 60%, plus the additional PBR* and the 30% NYS Initiative State Subsidy ($3.95) for lunch must charge a minimum of $4.34 plus tax for an adult lunch.
*Performance-based cash reimbursement (PBR) is 7 cents

Seamless Summer Option (SSO) ** Updated

  • Schools that receive reimbursement for breakfast must charge a minimum of $2.71 plus tax for an adult breakfast meal.
  • Schools that receive reimbursement for lunch must charge a minimum of $5.02 plus tax for an adult lunch meal.
  • Schools that receive the 30% NYS Initiative State Subsidy for lunch must charge a minimum of $5.21 plus tax for an adult lunch meal.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
