Children with Diabetes- A Resource Guide for Families and Schools from NYS Department of Health

This guide provides a comprehensive and up-to-date resources that help children with diabetes grow up to be healthy and productive adults. In addition to providing practical tools and important information for school personnel, allowing children with diabetes to participate fully and safely in the school setting, the guide addresses the serious emerging issues of childhood obesity/overweight and type 2 diabetes in children, and provides promising strategies to reduce risk.
